FTM’s HelloSign integration allows users to send, track, and receive signed documents—such as contracts and load confirmations—directly from the Load, Carrier, or Lane Quote records in your TMS. Say goodbye to disconnected e-signature workflows.

Prerequisites
Ensure the following before starting:
- HelloSign API subscription and access
- HelloSign package installed from AppExchange
- Admin access to Salesforce (sandbox and/or production)
- Button added to object layouts (Use HelloSign)
Sandbox Access
Use the following credentials for testing:
- URL: https://test.salesforce.com
- Username: [email protected]
- Password: EXAMPLE1234567890
Step-by-Step Setup
1. Installed Package & Configuration
Go to:
Setup → Installed Packages → HelloSign → Configure → Connect
🔧 If you get redirected or error, ensure you are logged in to the correct Trailblazer account.
2. Add “Use HelloSign” Button to Objects
- Navigate to:
- Load object → Page Layout
- Carrier object → Page Layout
- Lane Quote object → Page Layout
- Add the Use HelloSign button from the available buttons list
- Save and activate layout
3. Optional: Custom Field Mapping
If you want to dynamically pull agent name, carrier payment fields, or insurance details into your HelloSign documents:
- Add fields to the object layout
- Include them in the template tags or document merge logic
- Update document templates in HelloSign dashboard
4. Testing HelloSign
To send a document:
- Open a Load, Carrier, or Lane Quote record
- Click Use HelloSign
- Choose the template and recipient
- Confirm that the signed document is returned and attached to the record
5. Troubleshooting
- Button doesn’t appear?
- Check if it was added to the correct layout
- Confirm object visibility and profile permissions
- Package not connected?
- Revisit Setup → Installed Packages → HelloSign → Configure → Connect
- Signed document missing?
- Check file attachments section
- Confirm recipient completed signing
