Your First Week with FTM

A typical implementation timeline. Your FTM implementation specialist will align this to your specific environment and requirements.

Day 1
Project Kickoff
Introduction call with your FTM implementation specialist
Review of your transportation workflows and current systems
Confirmation of go-live timeline and key milestones
Salesforce org access verified and AppExchange installation confirmed

How long does implementation take?

Core workflows are typically live within 14 days. The exact timeline depends on your data complexity, number of integrations, and team availability for training. Your implementation specialist will confirm the schedule during the kickoff call.
Who should attend training?

Training sessions are structured by role. Dispatchers and brokers attend operational workflow training. Salesforce administrators attend configuration training separately. Executive leadership typically receives a separate reporting and visibility session.
Where do I import data?

Data is imported using the Salesforce Import Wizard. The Salesforce Import Guide covers field mapping, data preparation, and step-by-step import instructions for carriers, customers, and other records.
Where do I configure integrations?

Integration configuration is covered in the Setup & Implementation guide and the Integrations page. Your implementation specialist will assist with connection setup during the configuration phase.
Where can I find workflow guides?

Start with the Broker Guide or Carrier Guide above, depending on your operation type. Detailed workflow documentation for each FTM module is available on the individual platform pages at ftm.cloud/platform.
